| Mark is writing a book on media careers that's due out in 2010. He also contributed to a journalism textbook published in 2009 and frequently contributes op-ed columns to major publications. Previously, he worked as a reporter for five years for large newspapers around the country. He has covered the suburbs for the Providence Journal, manned the night cops beat for the Arizona Republic, served as state capital bureau chief for a Pennsylvania newspaper chain and tracked Congress for a wire service. His freelance articles have appeared in the Boston Globe, Newsday, Philadelphia Inquirer, Congressional Quarterly, trade and specialty magazines, academic journals and foreign publications. Mark was editor of his college's student newspaper. |
