| Mark is an asst. professor of communication at Adelphi University in Long Island and an adjunct faculty member at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. Professor Grabowski has also taught at Monmouth and Princeton universities in New Jersey. Courses he's taught include Media Law, Intro to Journalism, Online Journalism, Press in America, Public Relations, Public Speaking and Critical Discourse. His journalism students regularly get their work published in daily newspapers and have maintained a blog for the Asbury Park Press. Grabowski is very active beyond campus. His journalism website CubReporters.org receives more than 30,000 visitors per month. It was named the #1 job resource for soon-to-be journalism grads by the Society for News Design. The site contains internships, jobs, fellowships, career advice, interactive lessons and more. Recently, Grabowski launched an online guide for public relations internships. Additionally, he regularly contributes career advice articles to Quill, a journalism magazine. In 2007-08, he spoke at conferences held by the Society for Professional Journalists, the Journalism Education Association and the Institute on Political Journalism. |
